Introduction:

This site has the intention one can get easy access to the known problems about the Altiris infrastructure I already encountered or worked with.
I store here descriptions of problems, workarounds, knowledgebase articles and other stuff as it can all be found on the Altiris website as well.
As I hate to loose time on relooking, I store them here and try to keep the structure as easy as possible.
The most will be a "Copy/Paste" in pure text. Some self-made documents and "how to"'s will be disposed as well.

  • See Notification Server > New on NS > KB 46763 (Notification Server 6.0 SP3 R12 Release Notes).
  • And while installing this update, I came across an old issue with this new release. Please, see Notification Server > KB articles on NS > KB 43789 (KnownCulture Table is Empty after R8 Upgrade - Console will not Load: "Unable to determine the effective privileges for the current user"). I had this problem upgrading from R6 to R12!!!
